Protective Coatings

Identifying Your System

These are some of the types coating systems we install.

  • Urethane Cement
  • Epoxy
  • Urethane
  • Polyaspartic
  • Vinyl Ester

Urethane Cement

This material is also referred to as polymer concrete. This product is used to achieve thick levels of coverage in effort to build the floor. Urethane cements come in a range of viscosity from self leveling to trowel down systems. These cements are able to tolerate high levels of moisture and create a seamless, easy to clean surfaces. This system type is excellent for the food service industry.

Epoxy systems are two component systems that cure into a rigid, plastic-like surface. This strong and durable surface comes with a long lifespan when cared for properly.

This material is a "thin mil" product used for top coating. This material type is UV stable.

Polyaspartic Polyurea is a two component material with a relatively quick curing time. This material is UV stable and is usually comprised of a high solid content. Polyaspartics are durable and abrasion resistant. This material is quite successful in achieving corrosion resistance.

Vinyl Ester

Vinyl Ester is a two component product.  Vinyl ester is resistant to hydrolysis and has a low rate of contraction during the cure process. This type of product system is often used in the primary or secondary containment of chemicals due to its inert and durable nature.
